Helllo, stranger. I am ramping into another painting, and the beginning feels like it always does. Slow and deliberate - very clinical. I move fast once the current catches me, but the early phases are full of heavy trudging. Small examinations, quiet dissections. Revisions that exist for a blip before being erased. Never glamorous. Good thing I've been painting weapons - they don't need to be too pretty. My next painting is something that I've been ruminating on since August and will focus on the anatomy of a strange grief that I can't articulate.

Nothing particularly exciting happening outside of this project. Halloween decorations got put back on shelves and my painting desk - my familiars, if you will. I did get tickets to Blizzcon, though - I've been walking on air. Haven't been since the last one, and I have gone to several before that. I am excited to go again, to see old friends and make new ones. There's a certain electricity that only comes from thousands of nerds gathering for the world we love. And if you read this and will also be in attendance, I wish you a wonderful time wandering the halls. Voici venir les temps ou vibrant sur sa tige, chaque fleur s'évapore ainsi qu'un encensoir. Blue for you, still cleaved in two.🦋
